=== Preparation ===&lt;br /&gt;
Preheat oven to 375.  Shape the almond paste into a flat disk.  Roll out to 9&amp;quot; disk, between 2 sheets of wax paper.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Press the disk into the bottom and up the sides of the pie shell.  Refrigerate.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For the topping, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, almonds, and half the cinnamon.  Cut butter into the mixture until crumbs are formed.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For the filling, mix the sugar with the remaining cinnamon, and toss with the apples and pour into the pie shell.  Spoon topping over the apples.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Bake 50-60 minutes or until golden brown.  If the topping is browning too quickly, loosely tent with foil.&lt;br /&gt;
