* 1/2 t baking soda&lt;br /&gt;

* 2 c brown sugar (note: try reducing)&lt;br /&gt;
* 1 c butter&lt;br /&gt;
* 2 c rolled oats&lt;br /&gt;
* 2 eggs&lt;br /&gt;
* 2 T molasses&lt;br /&gt;
* 1 T milk&lt;br /&gt;
* 12 oz semisweet chips&lt;br /&gt;

=== Preparation ===&lt;br /&gt;
Combine dry ingredients.  Beat together brown sugar and butter.  Add eggs, oats, molasses and milk; beat well.  Add dry ingredients; beat until blended.  Stir in chips.&lt;br /&gt;

Using 1/4 c measuring cup, scoop dough and drop about 3&amp;quot; apart on ungreased baking sheets.  Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes, until just starting to brown around the outside.  Cool 2 minutes on sheet before removing to rack.&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Note: If making regular-sized cookies, bake 11-12 minutes.&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&lt;br /&gt;
