Ingredients

  • 1 small bunch romaine
  • 1 c sliced toasted blanched almonds
  • 1 1/2 c tiny raw cauliflowerets
  • 1 ripe avocado, cut up
  • cherry tomatoes
  • 2 medium heads lettuce
  • edible flowers (optional)

Dressing

  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced and peeled
  • 2 t salt
  • 1/4 c lemon juice
  • 1/2 t sugar
  • 1/2 t pepper
  • 1 1/2 t dry mustard
  • 1/4 t celery seeds
  • 1 t paprika
  • 10 T salad oil

Preparation

Wash and dry the lettuce; tear. Prepare almonds and cauliflowerets. Chill greens and veggies. Toss with dressing just before serving. Sprinkle with edible flowers just after tossing.

Dressing: Mash garlic cloves with salt, add remaining ingredients; pour in jar and shake well. Chill.
