Ingredients
- 4 slices bread
- 4-6 slices deli ham
- 1 pear, thinly sliced
- 2 slices Havarti cheese
- Miracle Whip
- mustard (yellow or Dijon)
- butter
Preparation
On two slices of bread, layer the pear, the ham and the cheese. On the other two slices, spread the mayo and mustard. Put the bread with the mayo/mustard onto the cheese (mayo/mustard on the inside). Spread butter on the top slice of bread.
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the buttered side of the sandwich down on the skillet and butter the top facing side of the sandwich. Fry the sandwich until the bottom side is golden brown and the cheese has started melting. Carefully turn the sandwiches over to fry the other side. When both sides are golden-brown, remove from the skillet and serve.
