Ingredients
- 3 T butter
- 2 lb asparagus
- 2 T brown sugar
- 1 c chicken broth
Preparation
Heat butter and sugar over medium-high heat until dissolved. Saute asparagus for 2 minutes. Stir in broth; boil. Simmer for 2-4 minutes until the asparagus is crisp-tender. Remove asparagus and keep warm. Increase heat to return to a boil and reduce the sauce by half until thickened. Remove from heat and toss with the aspargus.
