  • 3/4 t cinnamon
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 3/4 t baking powder
  • 3/4 t baking soda
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 6 T butter, cubed (cold)
  • 1/2 c cinnamon chips
  • 3/4 c buttermilk
  • 1 T turbinado sugar

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375. Combine dry ingredients; cut in butter. Fold in chips. Add buttermilk; stir lightly until dough forms ball. On parchment-lined sheet with sides(!)[1], pat into 2" thick circle. Cut dough into wedges; do not separate. Sprinkle with turninado sugar.
