Ingredients

  • 1 meaty ham bone
  • 2 qts water
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c butter/margarine
  • 3/4 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t pepper
  • 4 c milk
  • 4 c cauliflowerets, cooked and drained
  • 2 c mashed potatoes (with milk & butter)
  • minced fresh parsley (optional)
