Ingredients
- 1 can Eagle brand milk
- 2 T margarine
- 2 c chocolate chips
- 1 t vanilla
Crust
- 1/2 c margarine
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c flour
- 1 c oatmeal
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 c nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Melt together the milk, margarine and chocolate chips.
- Add vanilla, cool.
- Cream 1/2 c margarine and sugar, add egg.
- Beat until light.
- Mix in baking soda, oatmeal, and flour.
- Pat 2/3 of the mixture into a 9x13 pan.
- Spread with the chocolate filling.
- Add remaining dough and nuts.
- Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
