Ingredients
- 1 small bunch romaine
- 1 c sliced toasted blanched almonds
- 1 1/2 c tiny raw cauliflowerets
- 1 ripe avocado, cut up
- cherry tomatoes
- 2 medium heads lettuce
- edible flowers (optional)
Dressing
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced and peeled
- 2 t salt
- 1/4 c lemon juice
- 1/2 t sugar
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1 1/2 t dry mustard
- 1/4 t celery seeds
- 1 t paprika
- 10 T salad oil
Preparation
Wash and dry the lettuce; tear. Prepare almonds and cauliflowerets. Chill greens and veggies. Toss with dressing just before serving. Sprinkle with edible flowers just after tossing.
Dressing: Mash garlic cloves with salt, add remaining ingredients; pour in jar and shake well. Chill.
