Ingredients
- 1 oval of Appetizer Flatbread
- 1/2 c crimini mushrooms, sliced
- 2 t vegetable oil
- 1 T balsamic vinegar
- 2 T crumbled goat cheese
- 1/2 t fresh thyme
- 1 t balsamic vinegar
Preparation
In a medium skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until nearly tender. Add 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar; continue cooking until liquid evaporates and mushrooms are tender. Spread the mushrooms over a dough oval. Sprinkle with the goat cheese and thyme.
Bake at 450° for 10 minutes or until flatbread is golden.
Just before serving, drizzle with 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar.
