Ingredients
- 1 lb penne (or other dry pasta)
- 1/2 c jarred pesto
- 8 oz sun-dried tomatoes in oil
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 2 x 12.5 oz canned chunk chicken, drained
Preparation
Cook the pasta according to directions. Drain the water. Add all the remaining ingredients into the pot on low heat, and mix thoroughly until heated through.
Notes
For camping, I put the garlic powder and the sun-dried tomatoes into a small jar. Especially since we typically have a large jar of sun-dried tomatoes in our fridge, so I could just take what I needed from there.
I put all the cans/jars into a large ziplock and labelled it "Pesto Chicken Pasta."
