Ingredients
- 2 3/4 c flour
- 2/3 c shortening, melted
- 3/4 bar of chocolate, large size
- 2 1/2 t baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 c nuts or coconut
- 1 3/4 c sugar
Preparation
Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add sugar to melted shortening. Stir until well mixed. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add dry ingredients, nuts and chocolate bits. Spread into greased pan. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes. When almost cool, cut into squares.
