Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened, condensed milk
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 c chocolate chips
  • 1 t vanilla

Crust

  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 c flour
  • 1 c oatmeal
  • 1/2 t baking soda
  • 1 c nuts (optional)

Instructions

Melt together the milk, margarine and chocolate chips. Add vanilla, cool. Cream 1/2 c margarine and sugar, add egg. Beat until light. Mix in baking soda, oatmeal, and flour. Pat 2/3 of the mixture into a 9x13 pan. Spread the chocolate filling over the dough. Dot the remaining dough onto the filling. Sprinkle with nuts over all. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
