Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 c almond flour
  • 2/3 c sugar
  • 2/3 c brown sugar
  • 1 T cinnamon
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 12 T unsalted butter, cut into 12 pieces, at room temperature

Preparation

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle, mix together the flours, both sugars, cinnamon, and salt on low speed. Add the butter, one piece at a time, beating just until the mixture comes together but is still quite crumbly. Store the streusel in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or in a freezer-safe bag in the freezer for up to 1 month.
