Ingredients
| 3/4 lb | bulk Italian sausage |
| 1/2 c | chopped onion |
| 1 | garlic clove, minced |
| 1 can (15 1/2 oz) | butter beans, rinsed and drained |
| 1 can (15 1/2 oz) | black beans, rinsed and drained |
| 1 can (14 1/2 oz) | diced tomatoes, (not drained) |
| 1 can (14 1/2 oz) | beef broth |
| 1 T | minced fresh basil (or 1 t. dried) |
| 2 T | shredded Parmesan |
Instructions
IN a large saucepan, cook sausage, onion and garlic until sausage is browned; drain. Add beans, tomatoes, broth and basil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Sprinkle each serving with Parmesan cheese.
