* 2 c Open Pit barbecue sauce
* 1 small white onion, chopped (~1/2 c)
* 4 T dark brown sugar
* 3 T honey
* 2 T red wine vinegar
* 2 T crushed red pepper
* 2 T dark molasses
* 2 T Worcestershire sauce
* 2 t liquid smoke

=== Preparation ===
Place Open Pit in a large saucepan, and warm over medium-high heat.  Puree onion in a food processor fitted with a steel chopping blade, and scrape into the saucepan.  Stir in remaining ingredients.  Heat mixture to a boil over high, stirring continually.  Reduce heat and simmer 19-21 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Let sauce cool to room temperature and refrigerate.
