Ingredients

  • 1 lb aspargus
  • 1-2 T extra-virgin olive oil
  • ~1 t sea salt

Preparation

Prepare a hot gill. The temp should be too hot to hold your hand just above the grate for more than a second.

Clean the asparagus and pat dry. Brush with olive oil. Season liberally with sea salt.

When the grill is hot, place the asparagus spears on the grill. Grill for 3-4 minutes before turning them over. They should have char marks from the grate and the tips should be starting to char. Grill another 3-4 minutes or until starting to get tender. Remove from grill and serve immediately.
