This is the pie crust recipe we use every two years for our apple pie day.

Ingredients

  • 3 c flour
  • 2 t salt
  • 1 c lard (generous cup)
  • 2 T vinegar
  • 4-5 T water
  • 1 egg

Preparation

Mix the vinegar, egg and water together to 2/3 c.

Combine all ingredients into mixer and mix until well blended.
