Ingredients
- 1 c rice
- 12.5 oz canned chunk chicken (drained)
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 12 oz can evaporated milk
- 1/2 c water
- 1-2 T tikka masala seasoning[1]
- 1 T sugar
- salt and pepper
Preparation
Combine all ingredients except salt and pepper into a pot. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, until rice is done, and sauce has thickened slightly. Season to taste.
Notes
- ↑ Instead of making/finding tikka masala seasoning, could also buy a jar of tikka masala sauce, and use that in place of the tomato sauce and milk. May need to increase the amount of water added to fully cook the rice.
