Ingredients

  • 4 large tomatoes - peeled, diced, and chopped
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 1/2 t garlic powder
  • 1 1/3 c chopped green pepper
  • 2/3 t sugar
  • 3 T cooking sherry
  • 2 c V8 tomato juice
  • 3/4 c french dressing
  • 1 3/4 T green onions or chives
  • 1 t paprika
  • 1/4 t ground black pepper
  • 3/4 c finely chopped cucumber
  • croutons([optional)

Preparation

Combine all ingredients except the croutons and chill several hours before serving. Sprinkle with croutons on top of each bowl.
