Ingredients

  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained
  • 1/2 c yogurt
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 t ground cumin
  • 2 T lemon juice

Preparation

Cut garlic into small pieces and fry in olive oil. When it browns, remove from heat and stir in chickpeas, salt and cumin. Put mixture into food processor, add lemon juice and yogurt, and blend until smooth. Serve with pitas, crackers, veggies, etc.
