Ingredients
- 4 1/2 c milk
- 1/2 c uncooked rice
- 1/3 c sugar
- 1/2 t salt (optional)
- 1/2 c raisins
- 1 t vanilla
- cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325°.
Grease a 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
Combine milk, rice, sugar, and salt in a large pot, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Cover and bake for 45 minutes at 325°, stirring every 15 minutes.
Sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve warm or chilled.
