Ingredients

  • 4 c flour
  • 1 c powdered sugar
  • 1 lb cold butter, cubed
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1 c semisweet chocolate pieces
  • 1 c pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 c caramel sauce

Preparation

In large bowl, combine flour and powdered sugar. Add butter, blending just until combined. Form into 2 (10" long) logs. Roll in sugar, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate several hours.

Preheat oven to 375°. Slice dough 1/4" thick; bake 8-10 minutes (very light brown). Remove from oven and immediately put chocolate pieces on cookies. As melts, spread across cookie. Top with pecan pieces; drizzle with caramel.
